About 25 years ago, I was in the midst of a very successful career and happily married with two amazing children, living the American dream with just about everything one could desire. However, just like tens of thousands (if not more) of other human beings in our sphere of living, I found myself in a situation where I was looking for answers as to why I was not at ease with myself and certain conditions I was dealing with at the time. While I had always believed in a benevolent Creator that loves all of his creations, I was yet persistently questioning the true meaning of my purpose in this life, and, equally as important, why I was meant to deal with the current strife in my life at that point in time. Even at my lowest point, I was never a “Woe is me” type of individual who looked externally to place some sort of blame on anyone else but myself. I imagined there had to be some sort of reason why things simply weren’t playing out the way I thought they would as my life was moving forward with some very important issues that had to be dealt with pronto or the happy ending we all strive for most certainly wasn’t coming my way.
As fate would have it, whilst on a daytrip in May of 2000, I just happened to be walking by a bookstore in New York City that specialized in New Age publications. Suffice it to say, I was not a big book reader at that time. Especially anything “New Age” related. Be that as it may, I was pulled into that store by some unknown force of nature, magnetically drawn to a display that was stacked by books written by Dr. Michael Newton. You see, unbeknownst to me, Dr. Newton had just released his second book entitled, “Destiny of Souls: New Case Studies of Life Between Lives”. This was a sequel to his initial book called, “Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives”, published in 1994. Because “Destiny” was just released, the bookstore smartly placed his initial offering “Journey” intertwined on the display stand. After about 10 minutes of scanning through the two books, I was both awestruck and mysteriously hooked. It was as if I immediately knew my life had changed forever. This coming from one who had never given much thought at all to what happens when we all obviously take our last breath. Call it Karma, happenstance, fate or whatever other terminology you choose: this was the beginning of something beyond meaningful to me, I just had no clue where this would take me or how long it would take to play itself out. Ironically, as I sit here writing this today 25 years later, I still haven’t a notion where this will all end up in my current journey related to this fateful day in my life.
Ah, but this is merely the beginning of my story. After taking these two life changing books home and devouring them both by the following Monday, I absolutely knew what had to come next: scheduling a Past-Life Regression session with a clinically trained Hypnotherapist. But, not just any Hypnotherapist, oh no! It HAD to be one trained by the master himself, Dr. Michael Newton, of course! So, I did my research and found just who I was looking for: a Newton Institute trained Hypnotherapist who was a mere 90 minute drive away. For the sake of saving time, fast-forward to my session. And, with a resounding “YES!”, it changed my life forever…most definitely for the better! So much so, that I ultimately had a future “Life Between Lives” session that solidified everything that I had previously experienced!
As previously mentioned, this all happened 25 years ago. I was still in the midst of my chosen career and had “life” requisites to fulfill. However, these sessions had the result of helping me through the rough times to come and “life” went on, albeit with a continued outlook that no matter what happened, everything would work out in the end. I continued to stay quite involved with my newfound belief system, knowing that someday I would be called upon to help others in need, much like I was at that period in my life.
That time has arrived. My goal is simple: help as many souls as I can until my time during this life is completed. That, my friends, is the fundamental reason we are here: help others and enjoy your life to its fullest in the process! |
